The Last Concert
Café is an original only music venue.
Our musicians are writing and performing their own material,
Organically Grown Music. We have chosen that option because it more
closely fits our nature and momentum of free self expression. We are an
artistic community dedicated to self expression and creativity for
example we have hula hoopers that make hula seem like ballet, martial
arts like fire spinners, and vendors who create and sell their jewelry
arts & wares, its like an old fashioned art festival. I think the bar
can be raised by all who play music if they create their own songs and
we have amazing talent in Houston displayed at our venue where we
celebrate the uniqueness of originality.
Open your
heart and mind to experience new music.
We also want the musicians that have created the popular
songs to be paid and we support the music protection industries
endeavors to fairly compensate the artist. The best way we can help is
to allow only totally original music, and monitor our bands to insure
that they do not perform songs that belong to others and are under copy
write protection.
